What do you want to be when you grow up? I wanted to major in physical education and minor in art. It didn’t turn out the way I had planned. But now I think my goal has been reached. Gardening is very physical and I can put art in the garden. I grew up on a farm so I know what work is and I can draw a stick figure. 

People have asked “Have you been to (fill in the blank)? Or seen that garden? I haven’t been many places or seen many gardens. The garden is not copied or store bought. It doesn’t have the latest fads or expensive objects. It is homemade, found or at a yard sale. If everyone is jumping in the lake I’ll find a mud puddle to play in. 

The first 5 words in the Bible are “In the beginning God created”. That is my goal in life – to be Godlike and create. So my home is my Eden.
